Fountains is a charitable organisation which has been providing a confidential counselling service in Staffordshire and North Shropshire since 1996. In 2024 we started working in partnership with Reach Christian Counselling, an organisation which has been offering counselling across the North West since 1986.

We have counsellors in several locations and can provide counselling face-to-face, by video call or by phone.

We regularly support people struggling with depression, anxiety, bereavement, abuse, relationship difficulties, spiritual issues, eating disorders, and other problems that impact a person's life.

Who Can Fountains Help?

We offer counselling to adults regardless of race, class, religion, gender, ability or income. Some of our counsellors may also be able to see young people under 18 years old.

Appointments are arranged through our partner Reach. To get the process started click on the ARRANGE AN APPOINTMENT button and you will be directed to Reach's website. You will then need to complete a simple registration form.

You will be asked to pay an initial £5 registration fee. For counselling there is no fixed fee. We work on the principle of a 'fair donation' and encourage clients to consider donating £1 per £1,000's annual income for each session. So, for example if your annual income is £25,000, a suggested donation would be £25 per session.

Fountains has been partnering with Reach since 2024.
